Abby is an Occupational Therapist and the founder of Flourish Community Services, a mission-driven agency rooted in inclusion, community engagement, and person-centered practices. Inspired by her sister, she built Flourish on the belief that services work best when individuals are in the lead and staff walk alongside them. Outside of work she's chasing her two kids around with a coffee in hand and two dogs close behind.

As an autistic adult, Olivia brings lived experience to her role — offering insight on sensory considerations, accessibility, and inclusive practices that reflect the real interests and strengths of the people Flourish supports. Her creativity and compassion shape everything from weekly event calendars to new community outings. When she's not at work she's writing, diving into Sesame Street trivia, and teaching her niece everything there is to know about it.

Julia brings compassion and encouragement to every interaction — whether she's guiding staff, supporting participants, or brainstorming meaningful community activities. Her calm, upbeat presence helps create spaces where people feel heard, supported, and inspired to grow. When she's not at work she's painting, playing ukulele, or being closely monitored by her three cats.

Joanne is a supervisor with a strong background in employment support, coaching, and job development for individuals with diverse abilities. She's known for her thoughtful approach, creative problem-solving, and unwavering belief in the potential of every person she supports. Outside of work you can find her making art and probably being supervised by her cats.

Erin holds a Bachelor of Arts in Mass Communications and Graphic Design and has a passion for helping others and bringing smiles to those around her. At Flourish she provides supervision, collaborates with staff, and works directly with individuals on her caseload — including taking participants to see their favorite sports teams, which she loves just as much as they do.

Danielle brings over a decade of caregiving experience to Flourish, rooted in a foundation of caring for her own family — which shaped the deep compassion and genuine connection she brings to every individual she supports. She's known for her warmth, patience, and ability to create spaces where people feel safe and valued. Outside of work she's volunteering at her local community pantry, fostering animals, and spending time outdoors with her rescue dog Lucy.

Kathy joined the Flourish family in August and brings a warmth that puts both clients and their families immediately at ease. Her background in cooking translates directly into her work. She loves supporting clients in building real confidence and independence in the kitchen, turning meal prep into something approachable and even enjoyable. She finds deep meaning in the everyday moments of this job, and believes that every difference made is worth showing up for.

Patti came to Flourish after a rich career spanning nursing and years of direct work with children with disabilities, and families quickly find in her someone they can trust and lean on. A mom of three and proud grandma to a crew of four-legged grandbabies, she brings a warmth that clients and families feel right away. After retiring, she realized pretty quickly that stepping away from this kind of work wasn't for her. Flourish turned out to be the perfect next chapter.

Despina Kourtidis supports individuals to find their place within their local community. Her background in coaching and childcare has shaped the way she encourages clients to use their voices to engage in meaningful daily activities. Despina is a pre-Occupational Therapy student, gaining mentorship from Abby. They share a love for incorporating movement and creativity to help others reach their personal goals. Outside of work, you can find her playing volleyball or Greek dancing with friends and family.

Adriana is a Registered Behavior Technician with a background in psychology and nearly a decade of experience supporting individuals with developmental disabilities across home, school, and community settings. She brings a calm, evidence-based approach rooted in patience and genuine respect for each person's strengths and goals — and as a former foster youth, she has a deep personal commitment to trauma-informed care and the power of lived experience. Outside of work she's advocating for youth, diving into research on belonging and mental health, and spending time with the people she loves.
